Body Found In Water Between Alameda, Oakland
The body was first spotted by jet skiers, according to the fire department.
ALAMEDA, CA — A body was found in the water between Alameda, Bay Farm Island And Oakland on Saturday. Crews have recovered the person.
Jet skiers made the discovery along the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline near Doolittle Drive about 11:50 a.m., Oakland Fire Department Battalion Chief Heather Mozdean said.
When fire crews arrived, they recovered a body from the water and confirmed that the person was dead, Mozdean said. The Alameda County coroner was called to the scene.

The exact location is Airport Channel in San Leandro Bay.
