Adopt Your New Pet At Your Own Price!
You can decide your own adoption fee at the Alameda Animal Shelter from November 7th through November 18th. There are lots of adorable pets at the shelter awaiting their new forever homes.
Adopt a new best pet friend between November 7th and November 18th at the Alameda Animal Shelter and Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) will let YOU decide the adoption fee. FAAS will accept any adoption fee $5 and over for any pet in the shelter. Anyone paying $25 or over will receive a gift in addition to their new companion. Regular adoption fees range from $80 to $125 for cats and dogs, and $50 for rabbits.
Every pet at the Alameda Animal Shelter has received a health and behavior check-up and has been microchipped, vaccinated and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. The adoption process is the same as always, but now you'll have the opportunity to put your own price on adorable animals at the Alameda Animal Shelter.
The shelter is open Wednesdays from 11 am – 7 pm, Thursday through Sunday from 11 am – 5 pm and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Visit FAAS online at www.alamedaanimalshelter.org to get more information and view the more than 90 animals waiting for adoption.
