The only updates are that the Loggerhead Shrikes no longer nest on the western shoreline following cleanup work that was performed.  And the Harriers have not been seen nesting at Alameda Point in recent years.

The wildlife refuge remains a unique wildlife habitat that deserves permanent protection.
