Boston reminds us that Freedom has a Price

Freedom has a price and today's bombing blasts at the Boston Marathon serve as reminders that we are all at the whim of the person who chooses to act upon us, good or bad.

The tragedy in Boston is actually more scary now than when I was being educated and living in Boston. We went to classes with bodyguards to protect my classmates who were kids of heads of state, wealthy business tycoons, and other notables-- we were told of escape routes and who to call. Luckily, back then nothing happened. No attempts to kill or hurt the privileged kids.

But today and in present times, via September 11, Benghazi, and other attacks, the cowardly terrorists choose not the strong and protected, but rather attack the public, helpless unsuspecting civilians, the nameless who just wish to live daily life without incident or occurrence. Clearly we are all paying the price of freedom as for so long we took advantage of the concept.

Freedom has a price.

Inexcusably, the price we pay is not calculable and this price is FEAR.
