This year’s homes span 75 years of architecture and showcase the beauty and diversity of island living. There’s a mid-century home remodeled into a Millennial Beach House to take advantage of its spectacular views. Two homes are on Alameda’s lagoons, one a traditional serene family home, and the other a former entertainment house for a historic home. Completing the circle are an early 20th century Craftsman with many original architectural elements intact, and a charming late Victorian cottage.
Tickets include a Holiday Dessert Tea and are $35 in advance, availble online at alamedaholidayhometour.info, or $40 day of the Tour at the Elks Lodge, 2255 Santa Clara Avenue.
There are more than just tickets available at the Elks Lodge Tour Central on Saturday. You can
- visit our Gourmet Shop for homemade delicacies, wrapped for gifting;
- bid on gift baskets, services, dinner and theater tickets and more at the Silent Auction;
- buy holiday decorations and gifts for everyone on your list, including yourself, at the Holiday Boutique;
- volunteers will gift-wrap your purchases, too!
Prices for gourmet goodies and boutique items will fit every pocketbook. Bring the kids to do their holiday shopping.
Tour Central 9 am-4 pm; tours 9:30am-4:30pm, tea @ First Presbyterian 11am-3pm.
