Tucker Ice Cream's Newest Flavor Canine Crunch Benefits FAAS
Tucker's Ice Cream (1349 Park Street, Alameda) presents Canine Crunch to benefit FAAS. It's very yummy!

Canine Crunch—that’s the name of the newest flavor at Tucker’s Ice Cream. It’s a fabulous mix of light chocolate ice cream with English toffee, a hint of orange and caramel swirl.
Lucky Alamedans Pat Finnegan and Mary Coussan came up with the recipe after their winning bid at last fall’s After The Ball Gala, the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter’s (FAAS) fundraising event.
Kate Pryor, owner of Tucker’s Ice Cream, generously donated the opportunity to become “ice cream makers for the day” to the event’s auction. Her generosity does not stop there. All proceeds from the sale of Canine Crunch will benefit the shelter’s animals.

The shelter’s furry and feathered residents hope you will hurry on down to Tucker’s Ice Cream and get your scoop (why stop with one?) to support the compassionate care they receive while awaiting homes.
FAAS will present the third annual After The Ball on Friday, September 27, 2013, to generate even more support for Alameda’s animals.
