April marks the month of Semana Santa or Holy Week celebrations throughout Spain, out of which grew a dance tradition called the sevillana. In honor of Semana Santa, we will convert Rhythmix into a Feria of Sevillanas and hold our own audience-judged public competition of sevillanas for those that have learned the style. The winning couple will be featured onstage at next month's Cafe Flamenco! Music and dance from Emmy Award-winning Caminos Flamencos will top off the evening with the first-rate performances audiences of all ages love.
