July 4th Pre-Parade And 5K For Midway Shelter 2025: Alameda

• 7/4 Race morning registration opens at 7:30am 1420 Park St, Alameda (Race Start)

Come out for our July 4th tradition and run this flat and fast point to point 5k through the closed streets of Alameda. The run will start at 8:30am this year to provide ample space between our runners and the Parade that follows. * NOTE this is 30 min earlier than past races.

If you are traveling via Bart or public transportation please review the schedules below to get you to the race start, and picked up from the race finish.

General Overview:

The 5K run (3.1 mile) and walk takes you through beautiful Alameda starting at 8:30AM, just before the historic 4th of July Parade. This run benefits the Midway Shelter of Alameda. We are working closely with the City so that we can bring a safe and fun experience for both runners and spectators
