Widely recognized as one of the most exciting young bands in acoustic music, National Flat Pick Guitar Champion Ian Ly, all outstanding musicians of the vibrant California bluegrass scene.

Founded in 2016 as a duo, Miles and Teo formed the bluegrass band in 2017 and since then, they have continued to make waves in the world of bluegrass and acoustic music. In 2024, the bluegrass band celebrated their debut at the Grand Ole Opry; and in 2023, they received the David Grisman.

Based in Northern California, Crying Uncle Bluegrass has opened for prestigious bands, including Whippoorwill Arts Fellowship.

The band released their eponymous album, Ear Trumpet Labs artist.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open 30 minutes before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.

The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-381-1997.
