Soma is a Greek word that means "living body in its wholeness." Somatic Yoga is a movement practice that focuses on feeling our living body from the inside. We do this by bringing our awareness to our breath and sensations as we move slowly through different poses, notice our shifting of weight, and bring our curiosity to the shapes we embody. Class will begin with breath awareness and slow, fluid movements to bring us into deeper contact with our sense of Self.&nbsp;
 The exercises will be intrinsically strengthening, like how a baby develops muscular tone gently over time. The class will include seated poses and a standing asana slow-flow practice in which we will bring our inner awareness and breath to each pose and transition.
 Class will end with a return to the floor, noticing the changes in how we are making contact with ourselves and our environment. Somatic Yoga will be a movement journey that guides you to experience the Fullness of You.

Restorative Yoga is a meditative form of yoga that emphasizes stillness, deep relaxation, and conscious breathing. In this practice, the body is fully supported with props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, allowing practitioners to hold gentle yoga poses for extended periods without strain. This supportive environment creates space for the nervous system to relax and for the breath to deepen, encouraging a state of calm and mindfulness. The slow pace and passive approach help to cultivate awareness of the present moment, making it a grounding and introspective experience.
Expect a sequence of soothing poses, including hip openers, gentle twists, and other restorative postures designed to release tension and enhance mobility. These poses are not meant to stretch the body to its limits but rather to open it up gradually, both physically and mentally. As the body relaxes and opens, so too does the mind, creating a sense of spaciousness and ease.

Cymande is the most important black British group of their generation, a band so many people have heard,but yet not“heard of.”In the early 1970’s in South London, a group of black musicians, who all emigrated to the UK from the Caribbean as children, formed the group. Led by Patrick Patterson (guitars, vocals) and Steve Scipio (bass, vocals) Cymande was so unique and ahead of its time that, not with standing the success in the States in the early ‘70s, it hasn’t been until recent years that the general public has truly begun to catch on. Celebrate America 250 at San Francisco’s Biggest Fourth of July Pub Crawl
San Francisco knows how to throw a Fourth of July party and this year’s celebration will be bigger than usual. On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the annual Fourth of July Pub Crawl returns to the Marina for a day of drink specials, DJs, contests, party favors &amp; Independence Day fun.
The Fourth of July Pub Crawl has been bringing people together for more than 15 years. Thousands of guests have taken part over the years, making it one of the largest Independence Day parties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Whether you live nearby or are visiting for the weekend, the event offers an easy way to meet people, visit some of the Marina’s favorite bars, and start the holiday before heading toward the waterfront for the fireworks.

The pub crawl takes place from 2PM to 10PM at more than 10 bars in San Francisco’s Marina District
Participating bars include: Jaxson, Union Street Ale House, Wizards &amp; Wands, The Blue Light, Rick &amp; Roxy’s, Palm House, White Rabbit, The Brixton, Westwood, Comet Club &amp; more
There is no required route. Guests receive a pub crawl map at check-in and can choose where they would like to go.
Where and When to Check In
All participants should begin at Rick &amp; Roxy’s:

Check-in is available from 2PM to 8PM.
At check-in, you can pick up their event wristband and pub crawl map. The wristband provides access to the drink specials and activities at participating locations.
Arriving earlier gives you more time to visit the bars, take part in the contests and enjoy the daytime side of the celebration. It can also make meeting up with a group much easier before the Marina gets busier later in the afternoon.
 The San Francisco Hot Dog Eating Contest
One of the biggest parts of the event is the annual San Francisco Hot Dog Eating Contest. See some of San Francisco's best amateur competitive eaters throw down some hot dogs for their chance to be the San Francisco Hot Dog Eating Champion for 2026!

 The San Francisco Pie Eating Contest
The hot dogs are not the only food taking center stage. The Fourth of July Pub Crawl will also include the San Francisco Pie Eating Contest. Contestants will race to finish their pie as quickly as possible with no hands allowed.

The Find the Gnome Contest
The Find the Gnome Contest gives participants another reason to crawl! Gnomes will be hidden in some of the participating bars and if you find one, you can win some awesome prizes. Finding them may take a sharp eye, a good guess or a little luck.
 Start at the Pub Crawl and Finish With Fireworks
One of the best things about the event is its location.
The Marina is close to several popular areas for viewing the San Francisco Fourth of July fireworks. After spending the afternoon at the pub crawl, participants can make their way toward the waterfront for the evening show.
Marina Green, Fort Mason and areas near the northern waterfront may offer views depending on weather and visibility. San Francisco summer nights can be cool and windy, so bringing a jacket is a smart move even if the afternoon feels warm.

At its San Francisco studios, Personal Training and Partner Training memberships include unlimited DEXA body-composition scans and VO2 max testing — diagnostics usually sold one scan at a time or reserved for specialized clinics. Custom Fit members can test as often as they train. The reasoning is straightforward. A DEXA scan measures fat, lean muscle, and bone density with clinical precision. A VO2 max test measures the body's maximum oxygen uptake, one of the strongest predictors of cardiovascular fitness and long-term health. Run those tests on a regular cadence and a member can see exactly what is changing, where, and whether a program is working — rather than relying on the scale or the mirror. That is the idea behind Custom Fit's positioning: not a gym, a performance lab. Every program is built from a member's measured body composition and cardiovascular capacity, then adjusted as the data moves. The goal is to eliminate the guesswork that defines most fitness routines and to treat training as something you can verify. The model also brings longevity diagnostics that usually live in concierge medicine into a routine training week.
