Candlelight Vigil In Alameda Tonight For Teens Killed In Crash

ALAMEDA, CA — A candlelight vigil will be held in Alameda tonight for two teens killed in a horrific crash Monday morning.

Decoto School for Independent Study senior Briana Ortega, of Hayward passed away at the scene of the accident. Logan High School sophomore Simon Sotelo, of Union City, was transported to Highland Hospital in Oakland where he died from his injuries a short time later.

A candlelight vigil has been organized by Briana Ortega's family tonight, May 31, beginning at 7:30 pm at the scene of the accident, the corner of Lincoln Ave. and Park St. in Alameda.
