All things Italian, Mediterranean, Beautiful, Classical Art, and Renaissance come to The Frank Bette Center as part of the Ciao Bella exhibit on display until December 22.
As Karen Braun Malpas writes in the Alameda Sun:
"In the show, Bella is mostly on the rise in a roomful of the distinctive colors and images of Italy. Charles Lucke shows large photos printed on canvas of winding Italian streets lined with colorful buildings. But, these are not the colors of Alameda Victorians or of a bleached New Mexican adobe village, but instead, colors chosen by an Italian sensibility, faded by a Mediterranean sun."
Feeling in the mood for a little slice of Italy? Check out the exhibition for yourself!
