Clever Einstein Is Pet Of The Week!

Hello, I'm Einstein, aptly named because I'm a clever guy.   My human friends at the shelter like to take me on walks, and although I can be a little shy when I meet someone new, I'm very fond of people and I like other dogs too.  Stop by the shelter to meet me, and let me show you what a smarty I am.

It's Cat-Oberfest all month long at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS).  Cats can be adopted for $5 and kittens for $50.  We'd also like adopters to bring in a bag of dry cat food for the FAAS Pet Food Pantry which helps low-income Alamedans feed their pets.  To adopt, you should bring everyone in the household to meet the prospective new pet.  If you are adopting a dog and have one already, the two dogs must meet prior to adoption.  Please also bring proof of home ownership or a copy of your rental lease indicating you can have a pet.

FAAS is located at 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda.  The hours are 11AM-7PM on Wednesdays, and 11AM-5PM Thursday - Sunday.  Please visit the FAAS website at www.alamedaanimalshelter.org for more information or call 510-337-8565.
