Community Passover Seder in Alameda
Ticket reservations must be made by March 31 for this April 7 Seder at Alameda's Temple Israel
will hold a community Passover Seder April 7 at 6 p.m. in the Rabbi Gunther Gates Social Hall of the synagogue located at 3183 Mecartney Road on Harbor Bay Isle in Alameda.
The traditional second-night seder will be led by . It will include matzo ball soup, gefilte fish, salad, roasted potatoes, vegetables, and a main course as well as chopped liver and dessert. A vegetarian entree is available by advance request only.
Bring your own seder plate and wine. The temple will provide all the other ritual items (including bitter herbs, matzoh, charoset, roasted egg, parsley, etc.)

Space is limited for this popular seder, so those wishing to attend are encouraged to call as soon as possible. Reservations must be made and tickets must be purchased no later than March 31. In order that food can be prepared in adequate quantities, no walk-ins can be accommodated. No money will be collected at the door. Payment must be made in advance.
Tickets for non-members are $40. Children age 5 to 12 years old pay $10 and those age 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased by check, credit card or Paypal. To make a reservation, call the Temple Israel office at 510-522-9355.
