
What they’ll learn: Drawing, painting, and art classes offer a great deal of benefits across the ages. Kids especially can gain a great deal from expressing themselves through art with their still developing communication skills. When creative thinking like visual art is introduced early in life, it can help kids to relate to the world around them. Artistic expressions such as painting and sculpting also help to develop fine motor skills.

Drawing & painting for kids classes usually begin around age 2 with basic instruction and simple tools like sponges, thick brushes, and finger painting. More advanced instruction begins around 5 years of age where they begin to explore different mediums, tools and styles.
