MOUNTAIN HOUSE, CA — Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 46-year-old man who never returned home after going fishing in eastern Alameda County on Saturday.
Deputies say Shahanur Alam's last known whereabouts were along W. Grantline Road and Midway Road near Mountain House — an area on the eastern edge of Alameda County.
Alam told his wife he'd be home around noon from fishing, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. When he didn't return, a friend went to his last known location and could not find him, authorities said.
