The Alameda Recreation and Parks Department (ARPD) is having its 30th Annual “EGG”Stravaganza Coloring Contest for all students currently in kindergarten through 5th grade living in Alameda. Entry forms may be picked up at Alameda parks, ARPD office, Alameda libraries or downloaded at: www.cityofalamedaca.gov/recreation/special-events.

The contest is being held from Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 through Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

WHERE:
Completed artwork and entry forms must be submitted to the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department located at 2226 Santa Clara Avenue by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 28th.
WHO:
The contest is a wonderful opportunity for kindergarten through 5th grade Alameda students to show their creative coloring artwork and talent.

The continued success of this event is made possible by these contributing organizations: Alameda Kiwanis Foundation, Alameda Recreation and Park Department, Alameda Friends of the Parks, the Alameda Youth Committee, Alameda Art Association & Art Gallery and Alameda South Shore Center, owned and operated by Jamestown Properties, a leading national real estate acquisition and management firm.
WINNERS:
Winning artworks will be displayed from April 12th – 18th, in the Alameda Art Association Art Gallery (next to See’s Candies), at Alameda South Shore Center, 523 South Shore Center West, Alameda, CA 94501 (map); 510.521.1515.
