The Alameda Multicultural Community Center sponsors its 4th Annual Student Art Exhibit at the Alameda Free Library from March 5-31, 2012. The exhibit features artwork from Encinal High School, Island High School and Wood Middle School students. The exhibitors are students of Art Teachers Warren Haber, Eric Schoeffler, Joan Schwartz and Marty Badja of Encinal HS; Melissa Ortiz of Island HS; and Lindsey Shepard of Wood Middle School.
Alameda Main Library hours are: Monday-Wednesday 12-8pm; Tuesday 10am-6pm; Friday-Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 1-5pm.
The purpose of the Annual Student Art Exhibit it to highlight student art in a public art space in order to provide recognition for students, teachers and schools, and to offer greater community access to student art.

The library is wheelchair accessible and on bus lines 20, 21 & 51A. Everyone is invited to view this two and three dimensional art work created by our local students.
The Multicultural Center was founded in 1998 to support and celebrate the many diverse communities within Alameda.
