High Street Station Cafe's Tuesday Charity Night when the cafe donates a portion of the proceeds of each mean to an Alameda charity. Support the Alameda CERT program and enjoy a delicious meal. Meals are $14 per person and start at 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. at High Street Station Cafe at the corner of Encinal Avenue and High Street. CERT, Community Emergency Response Teams, are composed of people who are trained and prepared for disasters. That means they will be able to help themselves, their families, their neighbors and others when a disaster strikes. One of Alameda CERTs major tasks is to offer free training to people who live and work in Alameda to prepare for any type of disaster.
