Spark and Whisper is an indie-folk band led by singer/songwriters Velvy Appleton (vocals, acoustic/electric/slide guitars) and Anita Sandwina (vocals, guitar, mandolin).

Velvy and Anita present original songs and acoustic musicianship that express a very personal point of view. Their songs are life in the mirror, and you are invited to contemplate your own history and know its worth. The Spark & Whisper sound is an elegant blending of guitars, mandolin, upright bass, percussion, movement, sonority, rhythm ... voices that hook the emotions.

Since no work of art is really ever finished -- only stopping at a good place, Velvy and Anita continue to observe and translate the beauty that exists for them. They're mapping a lively course through life's mystery and complexity.
