The Academy of Alameda presents "Much Ado About Nothing"

The Academy of Alameda Middle School proudly presents Much Ado About Nothing. This one-hour play moves quickly to tell the love stories of two couples.  It is full of deceit and humor, and appropriate for all audiences.

Kathleen Seabolt has once again done a masterful job at editing Shakespeare's work to make it accessible to kids. She has dedicated the past three weeks to guiding these students through the challenging language of this classic comedy.

This year she was assisted by a group of Encinal High School students who are all alumni of The Academy of Alameda.  These high schoolers participate in a West Alameda Community Program called Shakespeare Invented the Teenager run by Seabolt at Alternatives in Action.
