It's all about kids, music, and giving at the Summer Beats Concert Series this Saturday, August 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The focus is on young talented musicians and songwriters at our Young Songwriters Workshop & Jam Session Concert. This concert also kicks off the Alameda Education Foundations' Instrument Drive.
Come and enjoy Rosenblum Cellars wines and tasty treats from Peter’s Kettle Corn as they support and listen to our young songwriters and musicians perform their original works.
During the concert, please help the Alameda Education Foundation as they collect school supplies and musical instruments for Alameda’s homeless children. School items being collected include backpacks, notebooks, pens, folders, markers and any other classroom items. This performance kicks off their Instrument Drive. Gently used musical instruments are needed for music education throughout Alameda schools. Instruments and school supplies can be donated at the Alameda Education Foundation table near the center court stage during the performance.
