Fire Damages Alameda Home

The fire broke out Tuesday night on the second floor of a home on Fundy Bay.

ALAMEDA, CA — No injuries were reported in an Alameda house fire Tuesday night.

The fire happened at about 9:30 p.m. at a two story home in the 100 block of Fundy Bay.

The Alameda Fire Department responded with 20 firefighters, who brought the blaze under control in 25 minutes.

The fire was contained to just one bedroom, sparing the serious damage to the rest of the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
