Halloween Night Robbery, Thefts in Alameda
Police say groups of teens. many in Halloween masks, were causing more than mischief. (Breaking)

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police report that one person was robbed at the South Shore Center on Halloween night, and two online reports of thefts were filed online Tuesday.
The first report of a robbery was received at 7:46 p.m. Seven officers, two sergeants, and one lieutenant responded, detaining two separate groups as officers investigated the call.
The Communications Center received several more calls about large groups of juveniles causing disturbances in the area. Many were wearing Halloween masks, making it harder on police responding to calls.

The Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the robbery.
Police report, "We are dedicated to fully investigating each call we receive.If you have any information regarding the incidents which occurred last night at the South Shore Center we encourage you to contact the Alameda Police Department at 510-337-8340."
