Help the Alameda Science and Technology Institute (ASTI) Win a Grant!
ASTI is running for the Seeds of Change grant program, which awards up to $20,000 in funding for school gardens.

Hello Alameda!
ASTI’s Green Club seeks the community’s support in winning a grant of up to $20,000 from Seeds of Change, an organic gardening company. Winning this grant would aid in expanding the size, possibilities, and community presence of the garden. The ASTI garden is the only school garden running for this grant in Alameda and Oakland!
The garden is strictly an organic, pesticide free, and non- GMO vegetable garden. It has provided many leadership, problem solving, and community service opportunities for ASTI students, as well as being a supplement for ASTI classes. The garden is also an opportunity for students to learn about the environment, nutrition, and food systems. As the garden is primarily student led, students will be able to lead more projects with more funding.

In order to be considered for the final judging phase, the ASTI garden must be one of the top 50 school gardens in the country with the most online votes. Then, Seeds of Change will announce the 34 grant recipients around May 12th. The online voting period began on April 9th and ends on April 27th. Until then, please help ASTI compile enough votes to be a grant winner by voting daily through the following link: http://bit.do/voteasti
You can vote once a day through any device with internet access. Please share the voting link with friends, family, and colleagues. ASTI thanks you for your support!
