Hummingbird Poses: Photo Of The Day
This tiny bird with iridescent feathers was spotted on Bay Farm Island last week.
ALAMEDA, CA — Joel Bernstein has not only provided us with this lovely photo, but also with information about this beautiful bird, "Hummingbird is a year round, non-migrating resident of Alameda. The photo was taken last week on Bay Farm Island. The late afternoon sunlight coming from a low angle highlights the brilliant red of the head and gorget (throat, neck, upper chest)."
