Job Seekers, Employers: Register Now For Alameda Youth Career And Job Fair

The deadline for employers to register is March 15. Last year, more than 600 students attended the annual event.

ALAMEDA, CA — Over 40 employers, City of Alameda sponsored internships, trade organizations, educational institutions, and a wide-range of summer job opportunities will all be available at the 8th Annual Alameda Youth Career & Job Fair. It will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27.

For students, there will be a Resume Help Desk offering guidance on how best to format or update your resume. Students who bring a resume to the desk will be eligible for a raffle drawing.

The event is open to all high school students in Alameda. Last year, more than 600 students attended.

For employers and organizations offering summer jobs and other educational opportunities can register for a free table by using this link using this link or by contacting Eric Fonstein at the City of Alameda’s Economic Development Office at efonstein@alamedaca.gov or Felicia Vargas at Alameda Unified School District at fvargas@alamedaunified.org. The deadline to register is this Friday.

The Career & Job Fair will be held at Encinal Jr. Sr. High School’s gymnasium, located at 210 Central Avenue in Alameda.
