Kiwanis Awards Scholarships to High School Seniors
Five Alameda high school students received scholarships from the Alameda Kiwanis Foundation as Kiwanis celebrates 100 years of Service
From left to right: Karen Duong, Alameda High received the Key Club Scholarship, Janet Chen from Alameda High received the Roger Hooper Scholarship; Donald Wu from Alameda High received the Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship; Ani Phelps from Encinal High received the Asher Broughton Scholarship; and Ariel Moyal received the John Hanson Scholarship. The scholarships are awarded to students based on submitted applications and their community involvement, educational factors and financial need.
