The 'Little Ice Rink' Returns to Alameda's South Shore Center This Winter

Limited sponsorship opportunities are still available. The rink will open November 8, continuing through January 20, 2015.

Alameda South Shore Center owner Jamestown is pleased to announce that The Little Ice Rink is coming to South Shore Center for the third consecutive year, opening November 8 and continuing through January 20, 2015.

This winter holiday season there are limited sponsorships still available that include promotional signage and materials, select spots in print and radio media outlets, participation at the grand opening and in the press, to name a few. The Little Ice Rink will operate for more than ten weeks, with an expected 25,000 participants and over 50,000 mall shoppers. To inquire, please contact: courtney.halip@jamestownlp.com.

The Little Ice Rink is the largest outdoor skating rink between the Bay Bridge and Caldecott Tunnel and the only rink in the Bay Area with the Bobby Seal skating aid. Sponsored by the Perforce Software Foundation, The Little Ice Rink is operated by Jamestown’s partner, Ice-America.

The rink will be open seven days a week beginning November 8, 2014 through January 20, 2015. Panera Bread will be serving coffee, hot chocolate and cookies on select days.
