Local Businesses Applying for Mission Main Street Grants
You can show your support for Alameda by voting for Sunshine Arts & Letters, Monkey Bars, and all other six other grant applicants.
Several Alameda businesses need your support to be considered for a $100,000 Mission Main Street Grants®. It’s easy to VOTE FOR ALAMEDA! Just click on this link and put “94501” into the search box. Then vote for ALL the businesses listed, or just choose the ones you know personally.
Two of these business are actively calling on their customers and networks to support them in reaching the next level of competition. These are Sunshine Arts & Letters which is seeking grant money to provide computer training to upskill older women, and Monkey Bars, a popular Park Street baby & children’s shop. Another half-dozen companies are just starting with their campaigns. Each one needs 250 votes to move to the next level of competition.
Through Mission Main Street Grants, Chase will award $2 million to 20 small business across America. All businesses that apply for a grant and meet the eligibility requirements will receive access to a small business webcast by Premier Sponsor, LinkedIn. In addition, the 20 grant recipients will receive a trip to LinkedIn headquarters. The winners will be announced in September 2015.
