Major Power Outages In Oakland May Impact Your Drive

OAKLAND, CA — A major power outage in Oakland is affecting thousands of customers, and has knocked out traffic lights, potentially impacting the drive for Alameda residents.

On the map above, the area shaded in orange lost power around 2 p.m., with 1837 customers impacted. The area shaded in yellow lost power a few minutes later, impacting 461 customers.

PG&E has not announced the cause of the outages.
