Man Arrested For Attempted Homicide In Alameda

Police were called to a fight on Park Street Sunday night where they found multiple people injured.

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police arrested a man on suspicion of attempted homicide and assault with a deadly weapon, following a fight late Sunday.

Police were sent to the 300 block of Park Street at 9:45 p.m. for fight involving several people. Officers found several people with injuries. "At least one of the victims sustained potentially life-threatening injuries," police said in a report.

The suspect was still at the scene and was taken into custody.

The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office will file formal charges.
