Man Injured In Violent Alameda Carjacking
Police say he was clubbed as he tried to comply with the carjackers' demands.

ALAMEDA, CA — A man was hit several times with an object as he was carjacked in Alameda by two people late Tuesday night, police said in a social media post. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police are asking residents and businesses to check security cameras between the hours of 10 and 11 p.m. on Tuesday, for the pictured stolen vehicle with the license plate 48421F1.
The carjacking happened near the corner of Mozart Street and Santa Clara Avenue.

The victim told that he was sitting in his parked vehicle when "two unknown men approached and opened the victim’s car door. The two men ordered the victim to get out of his vehicle and lay on the ground. The suspects claimed to have a firearm. As the victim was in the process of following the suspects’ commands, the victim was struck by an object multiple times. The two men then got into the car and drove away."
