Man Reports Pistol-Whipping In Rancho San Antonio Neighborhood

BREAKING: No arrests yet in the attempted robbery case, police said.

OAKLAND, CA – A man suffered minor injuries when he was pistol-whipped during an attempted robbery in Oakland's Rancho San Antonio district on Tuesday night, police said.

The incident was reported at 9:36 p.m. in the 2000 block of 18th Avenue, near Roosevelt Middle School.

The victim wasn't taken to a hospital. No one has been arrested in the case.
