Man Shot To Death In West Oakland

OAKLAND, CA — A man was fatally shot in West Oakland on Tuesday night, police said.

Officers who responded to the 900 block of Willow Street in the Campbell Village area to investigate a report of a shooting found the man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.

Paramedics provided first aid to the man but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name has not been released.
