Oakland Raiders Quarterback Bound for 2016 Pro Bowl
Derek Carr is replacing Cal alumnus and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

ALAMEDA, CA: An injury sustained by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has opened the door for Oakland Raiders Derek Carr to play in the upcoming 2016 Pro Bowl, Raiders officials said in a statement released this week.
According to the Packers, Rodgers, a former Cal football player, did not play in the 2015 Pro Bowl following a calf injury. Carr, who hails from Bakersfield and played in college at Fresno State, has been with the Raiders since 2014.
