Park Street's In Bloom to Close

Owner Monisa Croxton says she expects Aug. 26 to be her store's last day.

Croxton, a second generation Alamedan, opened the Park Street boutique catering to 'tween girls last July. 

, she opened the store to fill a need: "I have three girls. It was frustrating always having to leave the Island to shop for them."

But, she says, it's time to leave. Everything is 40 percent off. 

"Let people know that if they still have gift certificates and Trubates offers to come use them quickly," Croxton wrote in an email.

"Closing is a hard decision," Croxton wrote, "but it's something that is best for my family right now."
