• City Council Backs Stardust Gardens Funding After Housing Authority Dispute (alamedapost.com) — Alameda's City Council just committed up to $25.5 million over 20 years to keep the Stardust Gardens supportive housing project at Alameda Point moving, despite a dispute with the Housing Authority over federal vouchers. Councilmembers also approved a critical emergency-preparedness response, extended Faction Brewing's lease while recouping back rent, and granted a short-term lease extension to DOER Marine as Navy land transfers proceed.
