Owners of the restaurant franchise Five Guys Burgers and Fries have signed a seven-year lease for the space once occupied by Pearl's Deluxe Burgers at South Shore Center.
The restaurant, which will be next to Alameda Beauty Supply, across from Panera Bread, is set to open later this summer, reports MercuryNews.com.
"As more visitors come to South Shore Center for family events, dining and shopping, Five Guys saw an opportunity to serve the active Alameda community," Julie Taylor, senior vice president of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank, the leasing agent for South Shore Center, said in a statement released Monday.
