at 261 Blanding Avenue in Alameda will host a Greyhound adoption event presented by the Golden State Greyhound Adoption organization Sunday, March 18 from 12 to 3 p.m.
According to its website, "Golden State Greyhound Adoption is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that places retired racing greyhounds in adoptive homes in Northern California, including the San Francisco Bay Area, greater Sacramento area and beyond."
