Rita's Italian Ice Opens In Alameda

ALAMEDA, CA — Just in time for summer, Rita's Italian Ice has opened in Alameda.

Rita's serves a variety of frozen treats including its famous Italian ice, old-fashioned frozen custard, milkshakes, sundaes, frozen custard cakes, custard cookie sandwiches, layered gelati, plus signature Misto and Blendini creations.

And timing is everything - for the first day of summer, Rita's is hosting a "Sun's out, Tongue's out" celebration with $2 Ices and $3 Gelatis. It will be held the first day of summer, June 21, during regular business hours.

Rita's is at Alameda South Shore Center across from the new Adventure Court. It will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
