Snow Frosts Mt. Diablo Summit
Snow was also reported in Tilden Regional Park and on Mt. Tamalpais Tuesday.
The clouds crowding the broad shoulders of Mount Diablo parted for a brief time Tuesday afternoon and allowed a photograph of acres of white dusting at the summit.
The featured photo was taken from the Camino Verde Trail on Acalanes Ridge on the border of Lafayette and Walnut Creek.
A couple of times a winter you might get snow at the summit, which leads you to look up the Wikipedia entry for Mount Diablo and confirm that the summit is 3,864 feet.
