South Shore ... An Old Name and a New Logo

From the and what I've heard around town, I'd say that support for the name change of the shopping center at the corner of Otis Drive and Park Street is nearly universal.

Alamedans prefer South Shore to Towne Centre. 

That's what most of us have been calling the mall, anyway.

Though, I will say, that when I have mentioned the new name with some excitement to off-Islanders, they don't quite get it.

"Why does it matter?" asked one.

"Doesn't seem like news," said another.

But on to today's question: What do you think of the new logo?
