Sprouts & Shutters: New Catering Business Opening in Alameda

A new catering business will kick things off next week with a food-filled grand opening.

Cardel Catering is hosting the gala at its offices at 2404 Lincoln Ave. on Thursday evening. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with the ribbon cutting at 6 p.m.

Appetizers and tasting stations will be available, all cooked up by chef Scott Cardel. Among the items served will be smoked salmon and The Cardel Cosmo.
