Sprouts & Shutters: Video Game Shop Closes in Alameda

A store where you could buy or rent video games has apparently shut its doors in Alameda.

Patch freelance writer Carol Parker reported to us that Play N Trade has closed its doors at 2601 Blanding Ave.

The store's phone number has also been disconnected. It's unknown when it might have closed up shop.

Play N Trade's website makes no mention of any closure.

The store sold, rented and traded video games. It also repaired an array of electronic devices.
