ALAMEDA, CA - Two Alameda Police officers take their vows to serve and protect to extremes. They're not just looking out for people, but pets, too.
Earlier this week, Officer Park and Officer Tangataevaha dropped off a dog at the animal shelter. It's not enough that they saved it from possibly getting hit by a car - they returned a few hours later with a blanket because they didn;t want him to get too cold!
This adorable fluffball is not available for adoption, but there are plenty of dogs, cats, and bunnies looking for forever homes. Take a look at the animals available for adoption right here in Alameda.
