Twilight At Bay Farm Island: Photo Of The Day

ALAMEDA, CA — Today's photo of the day comes from Alan Levine, who took it while at Bay Farm Island on a March evening.

At first glance, the first photo reminds me of the movie La La Land. There are several benches just like these in Los Angeles, overlooking the horizon and perfect for sunsets and sunrises.

This photo, I feel, embodies the solace that one can only get alone on this bench, appreciating the sun's last few moments before disappearing behind beautiful Bay Area hills.
