USS Hornet Museum Presents a Special Father's Day Celebration
A Salute to Dad! Treat Dad to a BBQ on an Aircraft Carrier!

Treat Dad to a special Father’s Day celebration onboard the USS Hornet Museum that will include a BBQ and Magic Show. The event will coincide with the Museum’s Living Ship Day on Sunday, June 21th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
Fathers of every age, along with families, friends and other guests, can enjoy a tasty variety of traditional American BBQ food for a fixed meal price of $10.00. Other Living Ship Day events include the USS Hornet Big Band performance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Normal admission prices apply.

Children of all ages can enjoy a free magic show by local magician Otis. The show, which begins at 1:00 pm, is a fun-filled extravaganza where Otis will tell tall tales of his life and create an interactive story with everyone.
Otis is the Oakland Magic Circle’s Stage Magician of the Year and a Star Performer at Pier 39. Watch as he makes one bottle of homemade Root Beer turn into more bottles than you can shake a stick at, and that’s just the beginning!

Living Ship Day demonstrations are held onboard the USS Hornet on the third Saturday of most months. On Living Ship Day, the museum comes to life as an operating aircraft carrier, with flight simulations between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., when aircraft are lifted to the flight deck and placed into launch position. Visitors can meet former crew, sit in the cockpit of a fighter jet, and take in the sights and sounds of naval aviation. Normal museum hours and admission prices apply. Ample free parking is available across from the pier.

The USS Hornet Museum, a popular tourist destination in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to inspiring people of all ages.
