Semifreddi's Bakery first opened in Kensington (near Berkeley) in 1984. It was purchased from the founders in 1987, and the current owners built it into the bakery it is today.
Semifreddi's wholesale operation moved from its most recent location in Emeryville to the Island about a year and a half ago. Perhaps you have seen their baked goods at community events since? Or maybe you just pick up baguettes at or ?
