Woman Dragged By Vehicle In Alameda Robbery: 2 Arrests
The arrests were made on Tuesday, more than a month after the robbery victim was injured.

ALAMEDA, CA — Two women were arrested on Tuesday and booked into Santa Rita Jail after an intense investigation by the Alameda Police Department into a June robbery that left the victim injured.
At 3:15 p.m. on June 25, a woman was sitting in their car in the 900 block of Broadway. A person approached and stole personal items from the vehicle.
The victim chased after the suspect who ran back to their vehicle. "While trying to recover their items, the victim was dragged by the suspect's car and sustained injuries," police said at the time of the robbery.

Officers searched the area but did not find the suspects. The case was turned over to detectives to continue the investigation.
The suspects arrested on Tuesday are 30- and 28-years-old.

"The victim told APD she was grateful for the regular updates and commended the tenacity of our investigators who focused on solving this case," police said this week in a social media post. "We appreciate our community’s patience while our investigators conducted a thorough investigation to identify the involved parties."
